Typical Loan Process

Equidigm has a very simple and hassle-free mortgage process. Below is a brief step-by-step description to help you understand the steps and mortgage loan documents required in obtaining a mortgage loan. We recommend asking a lot of questions and seeking mortgage loan information from various resources. The more you know about the mortgage loan process, the more intelligent your choices can be.

  1. Fill out and fax the necessary documents to lock in your loan (1003 and other required docs - your agent will tell you). Please mail the originals. You always have the option of floating your loan, locking in the interest rate is not mandatory.

  2. Your loan will be submitted for loan approval. Most loans approval takes between 48 and 72 hours hours.

  3. We will make arrangements to have the property appraised. In some cases you might also use your own appraiser if you desire.

  4. You will be notified about what additional mortgage loan documents will be needed for the loan process.

  5. Your final loan documents will be drawn.

  6. The final loan documents will be sent to a title or closing company locally for you to sign and close, or we might be able to arrange a representative from the title company to go to your home or place of work.
